Interview with the Prime Minister of Lower-Saxony

At the end of the visit, two students from the Realschule Uetze made an interview with the Prime Minister of Lower-Saxony. Here are some of the questions of the interview:
 
- Which possibilities do you have in your daily life to eat healthy food and to do regular exercise?
- How do you relax?
- How important are social networks like facebook or twitter for you as a politician?
- What are in your opinion the most important key competences for a successful working career?
- Which measures must be taken within the European Union in order to solve the current and future problems together?
- Please complete the following sentence: I feel like a European citizen because …

The Prime Minister of Lower-Saxony visits the Realschule in Uetze

On the occasion of the ‘European Day’ on the 3rd May 2016, the Prime Minister of Lower-Saxony Mr. Weil visited the Realschule Uetze where the Erasmus+ team presented their project  ‘Power up! Get active for your future’. After the presentation of the contents of the project, the students gave an overview of the project work and and showed some typical excerpts of the results.  At five different stations with picture galleries and videos, the students informed the Prime Minister about the various activities during the mobilities and offered lively impressions of their experiences in the foreign countries.

Meeting in the ‘Paul-Löbe Haus’ of the ‘Deutsche Bundestag’ in Berlin

On the 7th May 2015, the 40 students from the partner countries Spain, Romania, France and Greece together with their German host students met the ‘Member of the Deutsche Bundestag’ Dr. Miersch in the Paul-Löbe Haus for a discussion. Topics of the discussion were the preparation of young people for their professional future and global warming, a danger that applies to all nations.

The exchange visit in Germany

The Realschule Uetze welcomes 40 students from 4 different nations. From the 03rd to 9th May 2015, the transnational group of students will work on their project ‘Power up! Get active for your future’. Besides the topics job application, job interview, visits to the companies Volkswagen in Wolfsburg and Avista Oil in Dollbergen, diverse sports activities and a trip to Berlin are on the agenda.

The week in Ioannina/Greece

With excitement and a lot of new experiences, the ten students from Germany returned from their trip to Ioannina in Greece which took place from 22nd to 28th January. They were really impressed by Greek hospitality. Another special experience was the official welcome by the mayor in the city hall, which was even broadcasted on TV.

The first trip to Greece

On the 22nd January 2015, ten students from the Realschule Uetze from grade 9 and 10 will travel to the first meeting to Ioannina in Greece where they will meet ten students each from Greece, Spain, France and Romania. During one week, the transnational group of students will work on their project ‘Power up! Get active for your future’. The students are accommodated in host families where they can experience the typical life of Greece.

After the approval of the project ‘Power up! Get active for your future’, the first transnational teachers’ meeting took place in Germany on the 16th October 2014. Three teachers from Spain, Greece and France, two from Romania and four from Germany met in Uetze for a first kick-off session.

With 95 from 100 possible points, the project ‘Power up! Get active for your future’ got the best result of only four granted schools in Lower-Saxony in Germany. A good reason to be really proud.

The first contact between Germany and Spain

Five European schools from France, Spain, Romania, Greece and Germany apply for the new Erasmus+ Project. Still during the application procedure, the first contact between students of the Realschule Uetze in Germany and students of the IES Clara Campoamor School in Alaquas, Spain, took place in a video conference on the 30th January 2014.
